Field Testing
Testing to National Standards
We provide field based spray and air infiltration testing in general accordance with ASTM standards. Consistent testing procedures are critical in achieving accurate, unbiased and credible results. We use professional grade testing equipment. Detailed reports are provided and can be used as evidence in mediation, arbitration or a court of law. Specific testing procedures can also be dictated by the client dependent upon their needs.


There are a number of firms stating that they are experts but their testing does not conform to current ASTM standards. The credibilty of an invalid test is marginal at best and could be detrimental to your case. 
Various Testing Equipment


Field Testing to National Standards

Field Testing is conducted in general accordance with ASTM standards that are specific to the situation at hand. Equipment is calibrated pursuant to these standards so that testing is consistent and results are reliable and repeatable. 

 


Witness Testing

We are available to observe testing by others to ensure that equipment and procedures are in accordance with specific and current standards. Reports typically include pictures, details and references to relevant sections of applicable standards.


Destructive Testing

Destructive testing, (DT) is typically required in determining the specific source of leaks. Limited sections of interior wall covering are typically removed to observe results of spray testing. If testing reveals water intrusion, systematic removal of exterior wall components can confirm specific source(s) of leakage.


Commercial & Quality Assurance Testing

Commercial testing of storefronts and curtain walls is available both during and after project completion. Quality assurance testing can be performed pursuant to Division 8 plan specifications. It can also be conducted voluntarily on newly installed products prior to sale or lease.

Existing Unit Inspections
Prior to the transfer of Real Estate, we check existing units to observe and document any visual and operational defects as well as missing weatherstipping or hardware.
