Shelley Brown provides business valuation and forensic accounting services to the legal and business communities. For more than two decades, she has served as an expert witness on matters involving business and marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, insurance claims related to business interruption, estate challenges, bankruptcy litigation, buy/sell agreements and more. In this role, Shelley has been described as genuine and diligent. She is concerned not only with the number in her delivery of testimony, but also with the story behind those numbers that can enable the trier of fact to issue a decision.
If her eloquent testimony in the court room was not enough, Shelley has also written and now teaches a course entitled, "Valuing Medical Practices for Divorce." She also frequently speaks for professional organization on forensic and business valuation matters. She has been published by the National Litigation Consultants Review and the New Jersey Association for Justice.
Ms. Brown is accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, (AICPA), and is certified to perform business valuations by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). But it is not her accreditations that speak for her work, it is the results she produces.
